How we use your information

When someone visits we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. HS1 Ltd does not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting any of our websites (,,, or We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source.

If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it. The only current example of this is where a user registers to receive one of our newsletters and then logs in: in this case a first party cookie will be saved to your computer.

We sometimes embed photos and video content from websites such as YouTube and Flickr. As a result, when you visit a page with content embedded from one of these sites you may be presented with cookies from that website. HS1 Ltd does not control the dissemination of these cookies. Cookie Name Purpose ASP.NET_SessionId This is only set when you register and/or log in to for the purpose of setting or managing your newsletter preferences. This cookie contains the user’s session ID and the cookie will expire at the end of the session (when you close your browser).
Google Analytics _utma 
These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the site. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.
