10 years of HS1: celebrating businesses along the line

HS1 Ltd is delighted to announce that, as part of a programme of activity to mark 10 years of HS1, we are launching a project to celebrate the close relationship between HS1 and businesses along the line.

Since services began in 2007 the line has opened up a wealth of opportunities for businesses to operate and grow in the region, taking advantage of the rapid links to both Europe and London. We are now looking to talk to businesses in the region that have grown, expanded or benefited in some way because of their proximity to HS1. Working with the businesses, we will help tell the story of the organisations’ growth, making them up into a long-list of entries.

A panel, made up of HS1 Ltd CEO, Dyan Crowther, and a number of prominent business figures from Kent will then choose from the long-list the final top 10 businesses to be recognised for their successes and contribution to the region over the past 10 years. These 10 businesses will have the opportunity to be featured in HS1’s media campaign to celebrate the relationship between HS1 and businesses along the line.

Entries are still open and so if you are interested in participating or understanding more about this project, please contact us via
