High Speed 1 is the railway between St Pancras in London and the Channel Tunnel and connects with the international high speed routes between London and Paris, and London and Brussels. The high speed railway is 109Km of railway connecting St Pancras International in London through Kent to the UK Channel Tunnel.

Operating in part from 2003 and along its entire length since 2007 it's the first high speed railway in UK that and allows for maximum speeds of up to 300kph for international services and 230kph for domestic services, as a result has reduced journey times for international train travellers and domestic commuters alike.
