UPDATE ON INDUSTRIAL ACTION ACROSS THE RAIL NETWORK

Update statement on Industrial action across the Rail network 

The RMT, TSSA and ASLEF have recently balloted its members for strike action or action short of a strike (working to contract). The RMT voted for strike action in relation to its members pay, guarantees over redundancies and changes to maintenance practices with the first round of strike action occurring over 3 days during w/c 20/6/22: 21, 23 and 25 June. This means trains services across the Rail Network, including HS1 will be impacted.  HS1 is working with Network Rail High Speed (NRHS) and train operators to minimise disruption.  However, during this period, including days either side of the strike, HS1 will be operating a restricted service.  We do not yet have visibility of action by the TSSA and ASLEF but continue to monitor the situation. Customers should consult train operators for more detail on available services.
